How Pickup Works
Pick Up Your Order
Your convenient pickup time slot is a one-hour window. For the quickest service, use the app to let us know when you’re less than 15 minutes away. Pull up to the specially marked parking spots at your scheduled time and follow instructions on the sign. We’ll load your groceries into your vehicle, so you don’t even have to get out of your car. A digital receipt for your order will be available online or in the app.
Choose Pickup & Build Your Cart
Sign in or create an account. Once logged in, enter your zip code, choose “pickup” as your shopping method and select the store where you’ll pick up your order. Then, use “Start My Cart” or the search function to easily find the items you need to order. Click the shopping cart icon to review your selections, add special instructions (such as “green bananas only”) or allow substitutions.
Checkout
When ready to order, select “Check Out Pickup Items.” Choose the date and time for pickup (you can order up to seven days in advance). Add your mobile number for text updates, including substitutions and order status notifications. Finally, choose your payment method (credit, debit or SNAP EBT card) and submit your order. You’ll receive an email or text with your order confirmation.
We Do the Shopping
Our associates are trained to pick the freshest meat, seafood and produce items for your order, just as you would choose for yourself. If you allow substitutions and an item you ordered isn’t available, we’ll substitute with an item that’s as close as possible to your original request.

How It Works
We offer several ways to shop for groceries online. Pickup, delivery and ship all let you order your groceries from home using our website or mobile app. Click here to learn more about our different ways to shop.
Pickup is our online ordering service. Simply shop online for the products you need and pick up your order at the store you choose! Our associates will even bring out your purchases and load them into your car. Start your pickup order here.
Start by signing in to your digital account. We have auto selected a method for you to receive your groceries. If it is not already Pickup and the store you want, then enter the zip code where you want to get your groceries. Next, select Change Store next to the Pickup method. Select the store where you’d like to pick up your order, then start shopping.
Once you’re ready to check out, start by going to your cart. Once you are in the checkout flow, you will be asked to schedule your Pickup order by selecting a timeslot.
From your cart, proceed to checkout. Here you’ll add your payment information. At this time, we can only accept credit, debit, and gift cards – no cash or checks. Government benefits such as SNAP EBT are now accepted at all pickup locations (excluding Marianos) You’ll see an estimated total in checkout. This estimated total will be used by your bank or financial institution as a hold on your account for 3 to 7 business days. The final price may change due to coupons, substitutions, taxes (if applicable), or weighted items. Please bring the form of payment you used online to pick up your order, as well as a backup credit or debit card. You’ll also need to bring a government-issued ID if your order contains alcohol.
When you arrive at your store, follow the signs to the Pickup area and park in one of the marked spaces. Next, scan the QR code on the sign to let the Pickup associates know you’ve arrived. (TIP: If you’re using the app, turn location services on. Our associates will automatically be notified when you’ve arrived!) An associate will bring your order out and load it into your vehicle, then you can be on your way!
