What are Buandntilde;uelo Chips and where do Buandntilde;uelo Chips come from? Buandntilde;uelos (Spanish: [buˈɲwelos]); are traditionally prepared at Christmas, Ramadan and among Sephardic Jews at Hanukkah. My Nana’s Buandntilde;uelo Chips are made from a thin “pastry-like textured” flour tortilla, fried golden brown and sprinkled with a coating of cinnamon and sugar. It will usually have a filling or topping. In Latin America, Buandntilde;uelos are seen as a symbol of good luck.
