Each bag has a capacity of 7 to 10 gallons with a 165-gram dart impact and 480-gram Elmendorf tear test. A biohazard symbol is clearly emblazoned on the side of each bag, while the bold red color alerts people that the bag contains infectious waste. The star-sealed bottom helps eliminate ripping or tearing, even when the bag is heavily weighed down with garbage. A bag is 2 x 2 feet and has a thickness of 1.05 mil. They have a twist-tie closure.
