Product Information

The 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless 2-Piece Combo Kit (XT288T) delivers two premium brushless tools for drilling, driving, and fastening. The Kit includes two fast-charging 18V LXT 5.0Ah batteries, which are compatible with the full range of Makita tools and products. The kit includes an 18V LXT Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (XDT16), an impact driver that sets new standards in power and precision. The XDT16 has a full 1,600 In./Lb. of Max Torque, with four-speed settings as well as Makita's exclusive Quick-Shift Mode for increased fastening control. Quick-Shift Mode uses the brushless motor electronic controls to find the best balance of speed and torque for each application for more efficient fastening. Another precision setting is Tightening Mode (T-mode), which downshifts and reduces rotation and impact speed prior to driving the screw into place, and is engineered to minimize screw thread stripping, screw breakage, and damage to work. The XDT16 delivers industry-leading performance in a compact and ergonomic design. Includes (1) hammer drill/driver (XPH14Z), (1) 4-speed impact driver (XDT16Z), (2) 18V LXT 5.0 Ah batteries, (1) battery charger, and (1) tool bag. WARNING: Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are: lead from lead-based paints, crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products, and arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber. Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
