De La Cruz® Sweet Almond Oil is expeller-pressed from the kernels of the Prunus amygdalus dulcis tree native to the Mediterranean. This nourishing emollient helps soothe and moisturize dry, rough and fussy skin. It’s high in oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids that help to build the body’s natural oil barrier, meaning hydrated, supple and soft skin! We love that it is a mild and light oil and is thus well tolerated by most people. It absorbs well and doesn’t clog pores. In addition to being a skin moisturizer, Sweet Almond oil is also a go-to oil for hair treatment.

How to use:

Skin: Use it after a shower to seal the moisture into the skin. Use a few drops on their own or blend with another carrier oil and apply to body or face once or twice daily.

Lips: Helps restore dry and chapped lips. Just massage your lips with a few drops as needed.

Hair & Scalp: Apply several drops directly to scalp and massage it in. Leave on for 30 to 60 minutes and then wash hair with your regular shampoo. Works wonder to detangle your hair too. As a treatment to condition the hair: warm this oil and massage on the scalp. Cover the scalp with a shower cap. Leave it on for 2 – 3 hours, and then wash it off with cool water.

Make-up remover: Use a cotton ball or pad, massage a small amount of sweet almond oil directly onto the skin and leave on for two minutes. Gently wipe off makeup with a clean cotton pad. Massage: Naturally mild with low viscosity, it spreads evenly and easily on the skin.
