Voluntary Recall on Harris Teeter Ground Beef in Clemmons, N.C.
Matthews, N.C. – Harris Teeter is notifying 10 shoppers who purchased a specific ground beef product sold Sept. 26, 2022 at Tanglewood Commons Harris Teeter located at 4150 Clemmons Rd in Clemmons, N.C. In an abundance of caution the company is issuing a voluntary recall due to the possibility that the product may contain metal shavings.
This recall is isolated to the Tanglewood Commons Harris Teeter. The company has notified eight of 10 shoppers; the company hopes this statement will reach the remaining two shoppers for which the company does not have customer data.
The product included in the recall is:
- HT Premium Ground Beef 80% Lean UPC: 20027600000
Upon notification of this incident, Harris Teeter promptly removed affected product from its cases and notified shoppers.
