(Oct. 5, 2024) – Harris Teeter Pharmacy announced several ‘Team Tune-Up’ mobile vaccination clinics coming to the Charlotte area to offer vaccinations in the parking lots of local Harris Teeter stores. This experience provides a convenient and unique way for customers to get vaccinated against preventable and common illnesses.

"At Harris Teeter, we believe that healthcare should be accessible and convenient for everyone," said Danna Robinson, director of corporate affairs at Harris Teeter. “This fun, community event will not only bring access for the community, but also helps shoppers to take control of their health by getting vaccinated for the flu, RSV and COVID-19.”

Various vaccines are available at the Team Tune-Up events including flu, COVID-19, RSV and pneumonia. Customers who receive a flu vaccine will receive a $5 grocery coupon or a $15 coupon for getting flu shot and an additional vaccine on the same day.

While receiving vaccinations, customers can learn more about the wide range of services offered through Harris Teeter Pharmacies, including earning fuel points when filling prescriptions. NASCAR driver, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., winner of the 2023 Daytona 500, will host a meet and greet at Harris Teeter’s mobile clinic on Oct. 11, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Caldwell Crossing Shopping Center at 12190 University City Boulevard, Harrisburg, N.C. Customers will have the unique opportunity to meet Ricky Stenhouse Jr., take photos with him and learn more about the importance of community health.
