Active participation by both TIE schools and loyal Harris Teeter shoppers is integral to the success of the program, allowing schools to earn funds through shopper purchases. When shoppers purchase Harris Teeter brands, a percentage is donated to the school to which the shoppers’ VIC cards are linked. There are no limits to how much a school can earn.
The TIE school year runs annually from Aug. 1 – May 31. To receive a check in the final payout period, schools must have accrued at least $25 during the TIE school year. The third and final payout period runs from March 1 – May 31, 2021.
Shoppers may link their VIC card now through May 31, 2021 to help their local school earn funds for the 2020-2021 school year.
