How would I purchase a large amount of gift cards?

Any amount of cards can be purchased at store level, however, because of the time it takes to activate cards at store level, customers may find it more convenient to place larger orders through our online ordering option https://www.harristeeter.com/shop-gift-cards.

Can I add value back to an existing gift card?

No, once the balance has been depleted, no value can be added back to the card. Gift cards are not reloadable.

Can gift cards be returned?

No, gift cards can be used to purchase merchandise, but can not be returned for cash or exchanged.

What happens if I lose my card?

Gift cards are just like cash and can not be replaced if lost or stolen.

How can I check the balance on my gift card?

You can check the remaining balance by calling 1-888-850-8871.

Is there an expiration date on gift cards?

All gift cards sold since October of 2020 have no expiration.

How can I order gift cards?

We now offer Harris Teeter physical gift cards, Harris Teeter e-gift cards, VISA and Mastercard gift cards to be ordered online at https://www.harristeeter.com/shop-gift-cards. We also offer gift cards in our stores. If you have any questions you may call 1-800-432-6111.

Who do I contact if I have an issue with a gift card or e-gift card purchased at giftcards.harristeeter.com?

All gift card sales are final. If you are having an issue, did not receive it please contact giftcards.harristeeter.com Customer Service by phone at 1-833-347-3158 for assistance.

For Physical Gift Cards, what are the delivery options offered to me?

We offer delivery options ranging from 5-10 business days or 2-4 business days. Delivery charges are quoted on order size (number of cards ordered) and the delivery option selected.

How is the Physical Gift Card packaged and delivered?

All Physical Gift Cards are shipped to the shipping address you provided at the time of purchase. Physical Gift Cards are packed in a single envelope or box (depending on order size) containing all of the cards that were ordered, along with a packaging list detailing the package contents.

I've ordered an e-Gift Card. How is it delivered?

For e-Gift Cards, your recipient will receive an email containing a link to their e-Gift Card. You will also receive a confirmation email. The link will take them to the e-Gift Card page to access their e-Gift Card with the option to print it.

Can gift cards be redeemed for cash?

Gift cards are accepted for merchandise only and can not be redeemed for cash. Any remaining balance can be used for merchandise and can not be returned in cash.
