Harris Teeter Pharmacy Technician Training Program
The Pharmacy Technician National Standards Program has been developed to prepare associates for a career as a pharmacy technician. This company-provided program aims to ensure that our technicians develop the skills needed to prepare and dispense medications, assist pharmacists, provide clinical services and achieve national certification.
Program Overview
Our pharmacy technicians will complete a combination of didactic (online), simulation and experiential training to ensure they meet the training requirements.

Professional Requirements
Over the course of their training, our pharmacy technicians are required to follow state licensure requirements. Upon completion of our program, graduates are required to achieve national certification through PTCB or NHA.
