Home-Gating Party Plan
Planning a football viewing party? You’ll have fans of your own with a spread of Harris Teeter Party Platters. Touchdown indeed.
I’m ready for some football (food). How about you? Sure, for some people, this season may be all about pumpkin lattes, but for me? It’s time for some game-time snacks!
It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to attend a football game unencumbered (thanks a lot, kids), so this year we’re cheering on the home team from the comfort of home. At least I don’t have to load up a cooler and grill in the van and fight for a parking space.
Nope, I’ve got everything at the ready right here, including some amazing Harris Teeter Party Platters. With a few football themed party supplies and these cascading platters – you’ll have the crowd cheering for you!
A few party planning tips:
Order your Harris Teeter party platters at least 24 hours in advance.
You can do this by calling your store or placing the order online. For the latter – go to www.harristeeter.com, click on “Order Online”, then “Order Ahead.”
Have an approximate headcount in mind when ordering your food. Most of the party platters available at Harris Teeter list the servings included, which makes it a lot easier to get the right amount of food.
Consider the time of the game. Harris Teeter has plenty of party platter options – from lighter breakfast options, deli meats, sliders, and desserts.
Don’t forget the extras! For my party, I filled up a few bowls with Harris Teeter popcorn and pretzels, got some HT Traders crackers for the cheese board and some hot sauce for the boneless buffalo wings.
Make it fun. We added some icing and sprinkles to the cookie platter so the kids (and those young at heart) could decorate team-colored cookies.
