Make-At-Home “Fancy” Popcorn Recipes

Bacon Ranch Popcorn
Just add bacon (and ranch seasoning) to up your popcorn game. Our Bacon Ranch Popcorn is a crowd favorite, making it the perfect halftime treat.

Ingredients:
- ¼ cup Simple Truth Organic Popcorn Kernels
- ¼ cup Harris Teeter Butter, melted
- 8 slices Harris Teeter Thick Cut Fully Cooked Bacon
- 2 Tbsp. ranch seasoning
- 1-2 Tbsp. HT Traders Grated Parmesan
Directions:
- Prepare popcorn in an air popper or on the stovetop.
- Microwave the bacon according to package directions, then chop into crumbles.
- Toss popped corn with melted butter, bacon, and ranch seasoning. Sprinkle with Parmesan, to taste.
Strawberries & Cream Candied Popcorn
Candied popcorn is a childhood favorite, that’s actually quite easy to make. Freeze-dried strawberries add natural coloring and great flavor to this Strawberries & Cream Candied Popcorn.

Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes + drying time
Yield: 10-12 servings
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Simple Truth Popcorn Kernels
- 2/3 cup Harris Teeter Half & Half
- 1 Tbsp. Harris Teeter White Corn Syrup
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2 cups Harris Teeter Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp. Harris Teeter Vanilla Extract
- 2 1 oz. packages Simple Truth Freeze Dried Strawberries
- Optional: 2 drops of red food coloring
- Special Equipment: Candy Thermometer
Directions:
- Prepare popcorn in two batches using an air popper or your stove top. Divide into two large bowls and set aside.
- Place freeze dried strawberries into the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Divide the powder and crumbles between the two bowls of popcorn and mix lightly.
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment or wax paper.
- Stir half and half, corn syrup and salt together in a small saucepan. Pour the sugar into the center of the pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Stir occasionally until the mixture registers 230 degrees Fahrenheit (soft ball stage) on a candy thermometer. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and food coloring, if using.
- Working quickly, divide the sugar mixture between the two bowls of popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated. Pour out the popcorn onto your prepared sheets to dry.
- Once the popcorn is completely dry, store in airtight bags or containers.
Chili Lime Popcorn
Add a little extra kick to your movie night with this Chili Lime Popcorn recipe! The secret ingredient – Liquid Coconut Oil – makes it a healthier treat than traditional microwave popcorn, too!

- ¼ cup Simple Truth Organic Popcorn Kernels
- 2 Tbsp. Simple Truth Organic Liquid Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp. Harris Teeter Chili Powder
- 1 lime, juiced and zested
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Prepare popcorn in an air popper. Toss with coconut oil, chili powder, lime juice, lime zest and sprinkle with salt. Serve immediately.
