Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

If there’s something better than your favorite pizza flavors piled on top of fresh baked buttery bread, we don’t know about it! Pro tip: Be sure not to slice through the base of the loaf when slicing.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 La Brea Bakery Sourdough Loaf (not pre-sliced)
  • 1 stick of Harris Teeter Butter, melted
  • ½ cup Harris Teeter Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Pepperoni Slices
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Fancy Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the loaf on a cutting board. Using a serrated bread knife, cut the bread diagonally in rows across the top, down to ¾” from the base. Holding the bread gently from the top, repeat cutting through rows in the other direction to create diamond-shaped wedges.

Transfer the loaf to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Drizzle the butter onto the loaf, separating the wedges so the butter soaks in. Repeat the process with the tomato sauce.

Wedge pepperoni slices between each slice of bread, then stuff the cheese in and scatter on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and the pizza bread is warmed through.

Serve immediately.
