DIY Ice Pops

We’re all spending a little more time at home these days, and while it’s not all fun and games, there are certainly some ways to bring more joy to your summer. Homemade ice pops is one of them!

From these almost-to-cute-to-eat Strawberry Lemonade Dino-Pops to our Prosecco Pop-tails, these frozen treats will bring a smile to everyone’s face! Even better? These DIY Ice Pop recipes are all easy to make and keep for at least a month in the freezer!

Strawberry Lemonade Pops

Strawberry Lemonade Dino Pops

While these are super-cute in dinosaur form, the strawberry lemonade ice pops can be made in any ice pop mold. Bonus – they use up past-their-prime strawberries!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes, plus time to freeze

Yield: 4 ice pops

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz. strawberries, sliced
  • 3 lemons, juiced
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth.
  2. Divide the mixture amongst ice pop molds.
  3. Freeze until solid.
Confetti Pudding Pops

Confetti Pudding Pops

The classic pudding pop meets sprinkles in this childhood favorite frozen treat. Make extras, because parents love Confetti Pudding Pops, too!

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes, plus freezing time

Yield: 6 pops

Ingredients:

  • 3.4 ounce package of instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 ¾ cup Harris Teeter 2% milk
  • ¼ cup sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Whisk milk and pudding in a large bowl. Allow to rest for 1-2 minutes to set slightly.
  2. Stir in sprinkles. Don’t over mix or the sprinkles might bleed.
  3. Sprinkle some sprinkles in the bottom of each mold, pour in the yogurt mixture and sprinkle additional sprinkles on top.
  4. Insert ice pop sticks and freeze until set.
Prosecco Pops

Prosecco Pop-Tails

Freeze pops meets cocktail in these easy-to-make frozen treats. Add fruits or juices to customize these Prosecco Pop-Tails for a colorful spread.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes, plus time to freeze

Yield: 7 ice pops

Ingredients:

  • 1 750 mL bottle of Prosecco
  • Optional: berries

Directions:

  1. Place berries in the freeze pop bags, if using.
  2. Slowly pour Prosecco into freeze pop bags. Fill slightly below the fill line.
  3. Place on a sheet pan in the freezer. Periodically check the bags and release extra gas from the bags if they look tight.
  4. Once frozen, enjoy!
Neopolitan Pops

Neapolitan Yogurt Pops

Can’t decide if you prefer strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla? Why not all three? With a Greek yogurt base and fresh mix-ins, these Neapolitan Yogurt Pops are a family favorite.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes, plus time to freeze

Yield: 6 pops

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Heavy Cream
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. Harris Teeter Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 8 oz. fresh strawberries, sliced

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract together until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add one cup of the yogurt mixture to a smaller bowl and whisk in the cocoa powder.
  3. Add ½ cup of the yogurt mixture to a blender with the strawberries and puree until smooth.
  4. Add the cocoa mixture to a Ziploc bag and snip the corner off. Pipe the cocoa mixture into the bottom of each mold. Tap the molds to settle the mixture.
  5. Pour the vanilla mixture evenly on top of the chocolate.
  6. Top off the molds with the strawberry mixture.
  7. Insert the ice pop sticks and freeze until set.
